B2O singapore - study
Concrete took beer and brewing as the inspiration
for its beer pavilion B2O. This formed the basis for
not only the food and beverage concept, but also
the architecture. Foam, the hallmark of beer, was
reinterpreted and magnified to create a building
that lives and breathes beer at every level, from
its glass to its architectural design.
This all-embracing concept makes B2O more than
a place for going out, dancing, dining and drinking
beer 24 hours a day; it is also a trademark.
The architecture of the three-storey pavilion is very
simple but nevertheless spectacular.
The upper-storey plan is a repetition of the lower storey
- but rotated. This creates terraces on the outside with
spectacular view of the city, as well as surprising
perspectives on the inside of the building.
